R&B singer Toni Braxton was taken to a a Las Vegas hospital today after she experienced some chest pains. The 40-year old singer was diagnosed in 2005 with pericarditis, a viral infection of the heart. She has been the spokeswoman for the American Heart Association ever since.Braxton has been in Las Vegas for a couple years performing five shows a week at the Flamingo Hotel. She has recently said that she is working on a new yet-to-be-titled album due this summer. About the album, Braxton says "There will be no dance songs. I'm going back to my old style."
